Samuel George Redfearn married Annie Maria Carpenter here on the 31st July 1855.St. George-in-the-East is an Anglican Church and one of six Nicholas Hawksmoor churches in London. It was built from 1714 to 1729 with funding from the 1711 Act of Parliament.
